Ugh I wish this site were more busy. I'm still going through withdrawal from imdb message boards and just when I think I'm over it, it rears it's ugly head again when I watch something good. Good being season 2. I love this show and didn't even expect to like it. I only turned it on becuase there was a free preview on xfinity and there was nothing else on. I was hooked within one episode. When watching season 2 it took me a while to get used to the French setting. Having been in the Scotland setting for so long and enjoyed it, France seemed so different. When I finally got used to and started to appreciate it they went back to Scotland. Lol. Through the whole season I was going back and forth on whether or not I liked it as much as season 1 but by the cliffhanger ended I decided I loved it. I couldn't image where season 3 would go tho so I had to read what the book was about and now I am looking foward to it even more. I've started to read the books now but haven't gotten far. I do have a question tho, how old is Claire supposed to be? I was a little dissapointed in the 20 year time jump...if the character is supposed to be in her 20s in the book (during the first one) I'd imagine a 20 year time jump isn't much but if she's pushing 40 like what I believe the actress to be, then the time jump would make her 60...and I can't imagine 60 year old Claire taking on too many ocean crossing adventures. 😂

Just wanted you to know that many of the people who were on the IMDB forum for this show are now on a Google group: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/alttvoutlander

There is also an active group on Previously.tv's forums, which had been a little slow, but picked up as spoilers have been coming in for the new season. It's actually starting to get more active right now as news has been trickling out. http://forums.previously.tv/forum/407-outlander/

POSSIBLE SPOILER I was really enjoying Outlander until the end of season one when he was brutalised. It really put me off.

The last two episodes of season one are difficult viewing, but the second season doesn't have anything quite as bad as that. There are difficult events that occur but they aren't quite as drawn out.

I'm currently reading book 3 and don't think I'll finish it by the seasons beginning. But I love everything about the show thus far. Book 3 thus far takes us to the latter part of season two and what happens off screen. I must read faster.

I am in the middle of season 2 and reading Dragonfly in Amber at the same time. Will probably read Voyager when season 3 starts. I love this story.
