Obviously Norman is going to find his recorder, read his manuscript and just figure out that he has been documenting this entire mess. Actually, Norma is probably going to find out and then kill him on the spot.
I could be wrong but this seems like they are going this route. Which is surprising because usually Bates Motel isn't that predictable. Maybe Romero will find it instead...

He is using it for his "suspense novel". I think he is fascinated by Norman's psyche. But he has other motives. I think he thinks he'll hit pay dirt when and if Norman goes back to the sanitarium. Chick probably thinks he'll take over the motel,the house, he prob thinks there is money stashed in the house, as well. I hate him and I'm just not sure why he is figuring so prominently in nearly every episode. I'm sure Mother will kill him, at least, I hope so.
