Yay or Nay Since Going to CMT?

Clearly there have been some big changes since this show was resurrected by CMT... which I'm thankful they did. I also realize they do not have the money a big network has so they did a lot of downsizing to the show. Some of it I think has improved the show. With less characters, they can devote more time to the remaining characters storylines... less big production numbers which I am also fine with. Some of the writing is weak to put it nicely ... I wonder about why they continue to make Maddy and Scarlett so annoying... Maddy being a teen, well ok but Scarlett I want to slap most of the time...
Anyway, love to hear what others think... !

Hopefully she will be featured more as she's one of the only characters I like these days. I can't stand Scarlett and Maddie is annoying too. And they are the ones getting all the story lines and doing all the singing!

I hope not. I'm just watching epsiode 3 and the woe is me/ wheelchair saga has turned her into fast forward material.

Nay. It's definitely gone down hill since the change. I never had much of an interest in either of the kids, or Scarlett, so it's turned into a right drag with them beng nearer the forefront of the story line and I find myself hitting the FF button a lot. Getting rid of Luke was a mistake and that awful storyline with Juliette and the choir had me reaching for a sick bag. I'm holding on to see if it picks up again, but I'm not optimistic.

So watching the episodes after Rayna died, I'm not as in love with the show that I once was. I don't know if it's because Rayna is gone but I feel like something is missing. I'm not into this clear new love interest for Deacon. I'm tired of the back and forth with Scarlett and Gunnar. And I'm not really into Juliette's de-transformation. It's kind of the same ol drama. I'll see the rest of the season out because I think there's like 2 more episodes and if it doesn't pick up I may not be around for next season either.
