Discuss Mission: Impossible

Really good season 6 episode. I love how they convinced the guy that Casey died of a drug overdose. I loved the look on his face when she was in the house and just casually strolled into the living room like nothing happened

I got a kick out of Casey's Irish accent.

I didn’t even realize she was trying to do one grinning

That shows how badly she does It.

I also got a kick out of the backstory that Casey had been "raised in a convent by good Irish nuns." I can debunk that last line because back in 1968 my siblings and I were stuck in an Irish orphanage and those nuns were not good.

@Jayhn1111 shamrock Speaking of bad Irish accents, in one of my favorite tv series, Angel, in a flashback it's shown that Angel was made a Vampire back in the 1840's when he was a cute Irish dunkard named Liam. One of the WORST Irish accents that I have ever heard!

Possibly. But Uma Thurman never spoke with an Irish accent in either parts 1 and 2, so who knows?

@Jayhn1111: Now that I'm thinking about the plot of this episode again, when James Gregory's bad guy character walks in on Jim "helping" Casey shoot up I remember wondering about how long her Irish bride character had been abusing heroin (I mean, how long would it take to learn how to inject yourself once the addiction takes hold?), or was having the bad guy seeing someone else "helping" Casey shooting up supposed to reinforce her innocent Irish bride persona (when asked why she was doing heroin, I think she said that she had been injured in a horse riding accident and was in constant pain).

BTW, How are you doing, Jayhn? Did you have a nice Passover? Please don't be a stranger, and I'm sorry if I've acted like a stranger to you.

Oh you are great. So sorry I have not been around. I miss all you guys! I have been busy moderating on a few different forums lately and been struggling to keep up on all of the boards. I would love to have all of you great people join us on the forum I mod on in addition to this fine forum. How are you feeling and how was your holidays?

I'm doing fairly well. I just found out that I have Sciatica, but other than that, I 'm well. Thank you for asking.

Oh I’m sorry 🤗

Thanks for saying that.

This is very OT, but have you seen the movie The King's Man starring Ralph Fiennes? It starts off slow but really gets a lot better after the first 45 minutes of the movie.
