The models arrived at Wisma Atria and were immediately given their first challenge, in which they had to walk in a fashion show in front of a live audience wearing couture dresses, with the challenge winner winning a $5,000 shopping spree at Wisma Atria. Later, they were taken to Little India and had a photo shoot where they had to pose as quirky girls.

The episode was originally canceled due to the issue of the lost Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 which crashed in the South Indian Ocean (and subsequently Flight 17 which also crashed in Ukraine). The show released a recap of what had happened during the episode on their official YouTube channel. The episode was eventually broadcast about one month after the cycle finale, on a cycle re-run in Indonesia. The remaining models were greeted by Asia's Next Top Model (Cycle 1) alumni Helena Chan and some other guests for a runway workshop.
