How should special episodes be grouped?

I am in the process of completing existing episodes from season 12 and adding episodes already aired in the US in 2021 on Nick. Unfortunately, there is some confusion here: there are several 'specials' in season 12. Some of them were already in the season list, so I added missing ones that have already aired. When noting the IDs (tvdb), I noticed that, for example, 'Patchy's Playlist' was assigned to season 12, but 'SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout' was assigned to season 0 (Extras).
What is the correct way to handle it?

Huh, actually, it looks like Nick has it as a regular episode. I removed it from the specials.
