Extra Details: This show's name is 'Undercover Boss'. The latter part of Season 8 and all of Season 9 are the only 'Celebrity Undercover Boss' segments. Not sure how this affects all of the other top-level metadata, but it was mostly locked for me.

According to our TV guidelines, the title of an ongoing series can be updated to the new title after an official title change. So the new title does not have to apply to the whole series.
That being said, I'm not sure what the right call is here. It looks like the new season is actually the first season of a brand new series that was (unfortunately) released by CBS as a new season of Undercover Boss. I don't know what it means for the future of Undercover Boss..
I guess one argument in favor of changing the title back to Undercover Boss is perhaps that the name is still used by CBS on the official website and social media accounts.
Also, the CBS website now calls the new season "Undercover Boss: Celebrity Edition" instead of Celebrity Undercover Boss.
