1777: a 21-year-old Mozart leaves a secure life and job in Salzburg to become a composer. He must overcome his mother’s tragic death and his oppressive father to break through.
1781: Mozart moves to Vienna and marries against his father’s wishes. Revolutionising the music scene, he becomes rich and famous, before he bites the hand that feeds him.
1788: When war and revolution change the Vienna that made Mozart a superstar, he spirals into debt and depression. To secure his family’s future, he must resolve to put them first.
