Count Miles of Kerak departs for Egypt, leaving his wife, Countess Mila. Nureddin travels to Jerusalem to query King Amalric about Saladin's disappearance. When Karategin informs Shirkuh, Shaver, and Yaruki that Saladin is in Cairo, their plans for Egypt are altered.
