Donnie Dotaman MacLeod is back with a new series of DIY. Travelling between Glasgow and Barra, he tackles a number of interesting projects which showcase his talents. In this episode Donnie builds two new gates for Roddy, whose old gates are falling apart. He sorts out a hall radiator which is badly in need of some TLC and he begins a project in his own home which will ultimately transform the family's shower room.

In this episode, he visits Rona's home in Glasgow, where the family are living with a badly finished wall that husband Andy tried to plaster after watching an online tutorial. In no time at all, Donnie shows them how to build a new, smooth plasterboard wall!

In this episode Donnie is in Barra, where Annag is having problems keeping her hens away from the flowerbeds. Donnie builds a wooden fence to keep her plants safe and also fixes some new clothes poles into the ground which will be strong enough to withstand the west coast winter!

In this programme, Donnie is in Barra supporting Cobhair Bharraigh, a charitable organisation providing care to residents in Barra and Vatersay. The sitting room walls have been damaged where the chairs have been scraping, a new toilet seat is required and one of the kitchen taps needs repairing, but Donnie has a solution to all of these jobs! He also reveals the new shower room in his own home.

In Lewis, amateur meteorologist Eddy Graham needs help after winter storms have battered his weather-vane to the ground. Donnie has to make an iron bracket and then reinstall the weather vane, ensuring it will withstand gales and wild weather. As he's in the garden doing that, Donnie spots a few more improvements which will help Eddy and his wife June.

Donnie Macleod rejuvenates a garden at Harris House in Tarbert. Although Donnie does not claim to be a gardener, this neglected corner definitely needs his DIY skills! He has his work cut out for him though in an area where dock leaves and thistles abound. With a raised flower bed, decking and a specially built bird-table, the residents can comfortably appreciate the birds and the flowers.

Donnie sorts out a storage problem in this week's show. There is no room for the car in Donald John's garage because of all the miscellaneous items the family store. He wants to bring some order to the chaos and need Donnie's help. By installing a mezzanine loft able to store the clutter at one end of the building, he might be able to move the car back into the garage. However, a lot of material has to be moved out of the way before work can commence!

Donnie Macleod is at the Bethesda Nursing Home and Hospice in Stornoway where a DIY job awaits. The staff want him to renovate a nurses' workstation which has is no longer used and create a linen cupboard. Donnie quickly gets to work, removing the cupboards, worktop and the electrics in the alcove before designing and fitting a linen cupboard with roller doors which will aid the work of the nursing staff. We also see how the house build in Craobh Haven is progressing.

In the last programme in the series, Donnie Dotaman Macleod builds a barbecue at Lewis Castle College. After building a base and brick walls, the project is complete. Donnie invites contributors from the series to an afternoon of food and fun at the inaugural barbecue party. Plus the completed new-build in Craobh Haven, Argyll, as Donnie joins the site foreman and the home owner for a guided tour.

Donnie Macleod and a team of local tradesmen attempt to renovate the community-run Lewis Retirement Centre in Stornoway in five days. With the local workforce giving their time and all of the building materials to this charitable project free of charge, the pressure is on to complete the work on time.
Each week, over 1,500 islanders use the centre as a meeting place and recreational space but it's badly in need of updating and more space is required to satisfy the needs of the community organisations.
In this programme, under the watchful eye of site manager John Campbell, they get to work. The roof is stripped back to the rafters, walls are knocked through, the old electrical cables are ripped out but the drains running through the back of the centre are a cause for concern and could even jeopardise the work.

Donnie and the team continue with the project. Work inside is progressing, the roof has been stripped back but bad weather holds things up, and problems with tree roots at the back of the centre continues to hamper drainage work. However, the team find that camaraderie and good humour allows them to continue apace.

With the local workforce giving their time and all of the building materials to this charitable project free of charge, the pressure is on to complete the work on time. Each week, over fifteen hundred islanders use the centre as a meeting place and recreational space but it's badly in need of updating and more space is required to satisfy the needs of the community organisations. If all goes to plan, Donnie and the team will update this much-loved centre and create the extra space required. In this programme, Donnie and the team continue with the project. Wet weather is still hampering some of the trades but with the plumbers, joiners, electricians and plasterers busy inside and the tarring of the driveway underway outside, Donnie's certain they're on target to complete.

Donnie and the team are under pressure to complete the work and open the centre on Tuesday afternoon. The rain has stopped and the tradesmen are busy inside and out in order to meet their deadline. The electrical supply is switched back on, the new front of the building is roughcasted, but the painters are struggling to complete all of the internal and external walls. However, team spirit hopes to overcome this with everyone from plumbers to brickies lending a helping hand and joining in the race to the finish!

Donnie is in Geirinis sorting out a problem with rising damp. Florence is considering demolishing her garden shed, as all the material she stores is soaking wet because of moisture coming through the walls. After clearing the space, Donnie can get cracking on his planned solution of a raised floor.
Donnie also visits Cothrom ReStore in Ormacleit and tries his hand at upcycling furniture. And work continues on the Caladh Trust kitchen renovation in Benbecula.

When he arrives, Donnie doesn't think there's any DIY required but Christine and Lachie Macinnes would like two potting tables and, whilst taking a break, Donnie fulfils a lifelong dream to drive a wee grey Massey Ferguson. Donnie also continues with his kitchen renovation project at the Caladh Trust in Benbecula.

Donnie has to complete his series-long kitchen renovation project for the Caladh Trust in Benbecula. There was a lot to change: the cooker and food preparation tables were in the wrong place, and an unused cupboard needed to be removed to give some much needed space. Donnie has knocked down walls, moved sinks and nearly everything else in the kitchen! Now he has worktops and splashbacks to fit before he invites contributors from the series for tea and cake in the new kitchen.
Donnie also visits a factory that manufactures splashback panels and takes a look round a new home in Sleat, Isle of Skye.

During the series, Donnie along with offering tips on some DIY jobs, meets some experts in the DIY domain and learns about a particular trade or practice. In this episode, he visits a shop in Oban that has caught his attention for all the DIY accessories available.
Donnie also upgrades his own house and garden environment. He clears away an area full of discarded items and starts to build a shed to store any fittings and utensils.

He hopes to lift a low-lying ‘island’ in the kitchen, refits a radiator, repairs cracks in a wall and then hangs new wallpaper. Donnie Dotaman Macleod travels to Kilmore Church of Scotland south of Oban where he meets the minister and agrees to build a new kitchen in the vestry to benefit the congregation for social events and gatherings. His first job is to evaluate the work that needs to be done and help get water into the building. His investigations reveal some joists under the floor have decayed and need replacing. He also needs to renew the plumbing and electrical works in the vestry. But will the parishioners be satisfied with his attempts at this major DIY overhaul?
Back in his own garden, Donnie continues building a new bin shelter that is more pleasing on the eye.

Donnie travels to Kilmore Church of Scotland, south of Oban, where he meets the minister and agrees to build a new kitchen in the vestry to benefit the congregation for social events and gatherings. So far he has installed new water pipes, replaced rotten joists under the floor and repaired the walls. Now he has to add a sink and the hot and cold water pipes and taps. But with time running out before the minister and guests arrive, will he complete the project on time?
Back at his own home, Donnie continues constructing a new area to store his bins in the garden. To finish the project he needs to build a fence and a gate to make the bin shelter more pleasing.
