Poor Wilson chases after the mischievous elephant, who leads him down an overgrown track.

Wilson and Brewster are sent to get stone from the mountain quarry. Brewster is in a hurry to get the job done, so that he can get back and practise some new moves in the training yard with Koko. For once he doesn't slow things down by asking questions, and he doesn't hear Dunbar warning them to be extra careful on the way back, as going downhill with a heavy load is harder.

The trainees are heading for a lesson with Dunbar in the training yard when an underground tunnel catches Koko's eye. She wants to explore it but Vee says she isn't ready yet. Dunbar is called away from the lesson about switching tracks before they barely get started. With time on her wheels, Koko decides she's going to see where that tunnel goes.

Hodge and the trainees try to find a new home for Eddie in Chuggington.

On her return she encounters the squirrels again - but this time she has to make an emergency stop.

Hodge prepares the electro-magnetic crane and the replacement track so they will be ready to go as soon as Eddie arrives. Wilson persuades Hodge that he could do the repairs by himself and save Eddie from getting in trouble. Hodge doesn't think so.

Everyone loves Frostini, the cool Italian ice cream chugger. Wilson wants to be just like him, so he's especially excited to learn that Frostini needs a helper for the school holidays. Brewster and Wilson compete for the position by doing a trial ice cream delivery round. Wilson imitates Frostini, but the children aren't impressed by his over confident attitude.

Koko is yearning for adventure - and she just might get it, as today the chuggers are making deliveries out of town. But Vee asks Old Puffer Pete to accompany them - and he's so SLOW. They always have to wait for him to catch up - and he's always letting off those embarrassing bursts of steam! During their travels, they come across a mysterious old spur track. Pete tells them it leads to Old Chuggington, which is now a ghost town. The trainees decide to explore the old town on their own and get helplessly, hopelessly lost. When Wilson accidentally sets off the old Chuggington Central Whistle, Pete puffs his way through the maze of tracks to investigate. He rescues the youngsters and takes them on a fascinating tour of the old town, which he still knows like his own pistons! The trainees realize that Pete isn't such a fuddy duddy after all and there's a lot that they can learn from him.

On her way to see a lamb at the farm, Zephie gets lost! She shouts for help and rings her little bell, but no one hears her. Morgan fits her with a siren so that she can call for help if it ever happens again. When Twiga goes into labour, Koko goes to fetch the vet.

A storm has left the Safari Park in a bit of chaos, and some animals have escaped! Emery teases Brewster, saying one of the escapees is a dragon. So when one of the fugitives - a golden bell frog - makes his home in a tunnel that amplifies his distinctive 3-note croak into a mighty roar, the trainees are convinced that Emery is right!

The trainees are doing a sign-reading exercise. If they work as a team and follow the signs correctly - there'll be a wonderful surprise at the end of it. The trainees start off together, but Koko and Wilson quickly lose patience with Brewster - he's so methodical, that it's slowing them up! The friends have a bit of a falling out.

The trainees are taking their passenger test. If they pass, they'll be able to carry passengers all on their own. Brewster and Wilson are a little nervous, but Koko is confident - after all, she's a passenger train! Mr. Simkins, from the Ministry of Chuggers, arrives to examine them. His 'jiggleometer' will tell him whether or not the trainees are riding smoothly. Koko volunteers to go first. Unfortunately, just as she starts, Simkins coughs and sets the machine off with a deafening beep. Koko jumps and Simkins gets thrown across the carriage. He fails Koko and, despite her protests to be given a second chance, is unmoveable. Broken-hearted, Koko goes off to the recycling yard and pours her heart out to Irving. Irving remembers Simkins of old and intervenes - reminding him of a similar situation in his own past. Simkins relents and gives Koko another chance! This time, without the jiggleometer, Koko passes with flying colours!

Wilson has been given the important job of bringing the refrigerated ice cream cars from the ice cream factory to the Ice Cream Tasting Fair. The refrigeration cars are heavy, so he'll have to take them one at a time. Wilson makes the first trip successfully, but when his hero - cool ice cream chugger Frostini - offers to give him a tour of the factory, he forgets all about his important job.

Children from Chuggington School are coming to the Safari Park, and Mtambo is training Wilson and Brewster to help out as junior guides. Mtambo tells them it's important to pay close attention to what he tells them about the animals, as they in turn will have to pass on the facts to the children - who will be tested afterwards to see how much they've learned.

The trainees' game is interrupted for a lesson: learning how to do different emergency stops with mud, leaves and water on the rails. Hodge wants to be more independent, but Eddie never lets him do jobs on his own. So when Wilson startles Hodge, causing him to accidentally break a junction box, Hodge decides to deal with it himself. Using the crane, he jams the wires back in and shuts the doors. Easy. But then strange things start happening. Lights and signals stop working, Vee malfunctions and chuggers are sent to the wrong destinations. Hodge and Wilson realize it must have something to do with the box they broke! If Eddie finds out, he'll never trust Hodge to do anything on his own again - but if Hodge doesn't tell him, it could take Eddie days to figure out what's wrong. Hodge finally musters up his courage and confesses. A relieved Eddie fixes the box. Eddie promises he'll let Hodge do more jobs by himself and Hodge promises to tell Eddie straightaway when things go wrong.

Annoyed, Frostini sends Wilson to the chugwash.

Discouraged, he slopes off and bumps into Harrison, who gives him a tip: he should drop down a gear for more control. Great!

When Dr. Gosling says he'd like to start with the monkeys, she asks if they can do the giraffes and elephants instead.

A farce ensues as the trainees rush around doing Pete's work as well as their own.

Dunbar and Nurse David from Chuggington Hospital are teaching the trainees how to use the ambulance car. Shouting over the noise of the siren, Dunbar loses his voice. Morgan can't find out what's wrong, but he suggests that Dunbar rest. Inspired by his lesson, Wilson decides to nurse Dunbar. Unfortunately he's a little too attentive, but Dunbar doesn't have any voice to tell him to go away!

Mtambo's in a bit of a rut giving the same old tours everyday in the Safari Park. He wants some adventures in his life so that he has new stories to tell. Mtambo makes up his mind to ask Freddy for a job when he returns.

Hodge, desperate to win the competition, runs Eddie all over town instead, doing jobs that don't really need doing.

Calley is doing emergency rescue training with the trainees. If they do well, they'll earn a badge. Calley takes them to her underground chamber to show them all of her emergency rolling stock and the computer that tells her when a chugger is in trouble. Then they go out into the country to do some practical exercises. Calley asks Brewster to pretend to rescue Zephie.

The trainees are learning to use the paint wagon. Wilson has trouble concentrating, so while Koko and Brewster learn how to mix colours, Puffer Pete takes Wilson to Old Town for some extra painting tuition. Wilson is great at doing wild, artistic designs, but Pete says he also has to learn how to paint with control. With Pete encouraging him, Wilson does it!

The depot clock is broken, and the schedule is in chaos! Eddie needs to go to Old Town to see if he can borrow a part from the old clock to repair the depot clock. Hodge gives him a lift, as he's taking the chugscan back to the factory because it's spouting gibberish. Meanwhile, Olwin takes the trainees to Old Town, and on the way tells them about the Old Town Mystery Chugger.

Puffer Pete's firebox is completely worn out and he can't move without it. It's going to take ages to have a new one made. Until then, Pete is stuck and can't move by himself. Meanwhile the trainees are playing hide and seek in Old Town. Brewster hides in a shed. When he emerges, he's covered in bits of old junk. Koko and Wilson think it's funny!

He puts them through some intensive stamina exercises, but Wilson just wants to get to the bit where they use jetpacks and fly. Action Chugger laughs and tells him that there is much more to being a super chugger than flying. Brewster is the first to have a go on a flight simulator.

Neither of them wants to do the other job - a quarry delivery.

When Irving leaves Koko in charge of the recycling yard, she's keen to show how responsible she is. In fact she's so excited, that she doesn't listen properly to his instructions. She ropes Wilson into helping her, and loves having an 'employee' to boss around. Because she hasn't listened, things go very wrong: machinery gets clogged with paper, the pallets get knocked over.

Koko and Brewster are going to the forest to pick up some wood and take it to the paper mill. Wilson wishes he could go, but he has to pick up a roll of special paper for the printers. In the forest, Brewster and Koko start to play and unknowingly break a water pipe that gushes everywhere. Hearing it, Koko thinks it's a waterfall.

Dunbar has a new training device: a voice-operated storm simulator tunnel, which simulates wind, rain and fog. It's programmed to respond only to Dunbar's voice. Wilson particularly loves battling the wind. Dunbar says that in real conditions, it's best to couple up to another chugger as the added weight gives control.

On the hottest day of the year, when the trainees are going to help Frostini deliver ice cream, there??s a power failure and it looks like all the ice cream will melt! Speedy has an idea: he and Frostini will go to the ice caves in the mountains and bring back ice to keep things cold. Meanwhile, the trainees must look after the refrigerator cars.

Nobody wants to go down the mine to collect the rolling stock for cleaning, so Speedy suggests they settle it with a chug of war! Two teams will face each other across a bridge with a piece of rolling stock between them. The first team to pull the rolling stock off the bridge is the winner and the losers will clean the mine. Harrison captains one team, Speedy the other.

It's a windy day in Chuggington, which is causing lots of problems. Eddie has a list of jobs as long as his arm! Hodge really wants to help. Some fencing needs to be delivered, but the hooks that hold the tarpaulin down over the load are missing. As Eddie dashes off to yet another job, he asks Hodge to pick up some more hooks. Farmer Felix is anxious to get his fencing before his animals escape. Not realising he actually needs the hooks to keep the tarp secure, Hodge decides it would really help if he took the fencing with him on his way to pick them up. On his travels, the wind works the tarp loose. It affixes itself to Hodge, turning into a kind of sail. It whizzes Hodge along and lifts him high in the air, sailing him all round Chuggington. Eventually it drops him back in the depot. When Eddie learns that Hodge has inadvertently fixed everything on his 'to do' list in the process, he thinks Hodge should sail away more often!

When Emery takes reporter Rag around town as he covers exciting news stories, he wishes he could get his picture in the paper! Rag tries to get an interview with the famous magician, The Magnificent Mysterioso, who has come to Chuggington to do a show. As Emery waits, he sees his chance. Smoke! The stage must be on fire! Emery uses a water cannon to put it out.

Hoot and Toot are double ended shunting chuggers. Hoot gets fed-up of Toot always being at the front, so Toot agrees to let him lead for the day. Hoot mixes up a delivery of red tomatoes and green apples. He also refills the spray shed with the wrong colour paint and Wilson is sprayed green instead of his usual red! Toot is upset with Hoot for getting everything wrong.

Dr Ling is experimenting with a new invention that can help chuggers increase their speed - the Booster! Brewster helps her to test it. The new booster makes him go super-fast, but it has some terrible side effects. Brewster gets a lot of attention and loves being thought of as a speedy engine, so he says nothing about the problems.

Because Hodge is one of a kind, they won’t be able to find a replacement in time for him to host the quiz.

Wilson is given the important job of taking some photos, to be used on a poster promoting Chuggington. Meanwhile, Dr. Ling has a special assignment for Hoot and Toot: pulling a robotic dinosaur around town to promote a new exhibition at the museum. Wilson isn't having much luck taking exciting pictures - until he sees the dinosaur go by. Wowzer! He has to get a photo of that! He chases after it, but unfortunately has a collision. His camera flies off and lands out of reach - just as Hoot and Toot arrive with the dinosaur. Hoot has an idea. Extending the dinosaur's neck, and using its jaws to grab, Hoot and Toot reach up and retrieve Wilson's camera. The camera goes off while it's in the dinosaur's mouth - giving Wilson the perfect shot of Chuggington he needs!

The trainees are learning how to use their snowploughs, snow horns and snow lanterns, but have yet to experience real snow. When a blizzard comes in, it's all chuggers to the rails! Wilson goes out with Harrison, promising to stick very close to him. Unfortunately, he gets distracted by some children building a snowman, and falls behind.

Dr. Ling is giving a talk about meteors and how, many years ago, one crashed right near this area. Brewster pulls in a real meteorite, borrowed from the museum. Dr. Ling demonstrates that you can move the meteorite with a magnet, as meteorites contain metal. Hoot and Toot are afraid the meteorite might escape and destroy Chuggington, so they decide to return it to space.

She thinks she's de-icing the tracks, but she's actually making them even icier - she doesn't realise that the car contains water. Because of her actions, Eddie and Emery get stranded out in the cold. Koko admits her mistake and does what she can to help Calley rescue them. When Eddie and Emery are back, safe and warm, Koko promises she'll never do anything like that again without checking with someone first!

On an icy winter's day, Wilson and Koko are sent out to sand the tracks in the mountains. They take a short cut through the ice cave. Koko does everything properly, but Wilson doesn't keep his mind on the job, as he has fun exploring. He doesn't realise that an icicle has fallen into his sand wagon, wetting the sand and rendering it useless. He's stuck! He figures out a way to dry the sand by using the heat from his engine and makes it back to the depot - after finishing his job, of course!

Border Bridge is re-opening and Wilson has been given the special job of using the new 'rolling reporter' car to make a live report, which will be broadcast on Vee's boards all over Chuggington. Wilson takes the car out to practise and comes across Calley training Hoot and Toot. When an emergency call comes in, Calley asks Wilson to look after the twins. They offer to help Wilson practise his report, but instead, they run off with the camera car and end up lost in the ice cave. Happily, the camera is transmitting, so using Vee's boards, Wilson is able to track them. He rescues them and the car and manages to get to the bridge just in time - and Rolling Reporter Wilson is on the air!

Meanwhile Speedy is out in the countryside serving drinks with the juicer wagon, when he'd rather be doing a proper job at the depot. They agree to swap jobs. While trying to operate the juicer, Zephie accidentally knocks a beehive out of a tree. The bees swarm into Zephie's carriage, looking for a new home. Speedy comes to her rescue and together they find the bees a new, safe place to live.

Brewster is going to be carrying Mayor Pullman, the new Mayoress of Chuggington, across the newly re-opened Border Bridge in the traditional welcoming ceremony. During the practise run, some of the facade falls off one of the bridge's pillars. It looks as though the ceremony will have to be cancelled, as the bridge might not be safe! At first Brewster is devastated - but then he saves the day by using something Dr. Ling's been working on: her new soap was a disaster in the chugwash, as it set into rock hard foam, but it's perfect for repairing the bridge! Safety restored, Brewster proudly carries Mayor Pullman into Chuggington.

Emery feels bad that he's caused so much work for Vee and wishes he could make up for it. He has an idea. If the detector could talk, it wouldn't have to do everything through Vee. Dr Ling and Eddie think it's a great idea and they update the detector so that it speaks. And they know the perfect voice to use Emery's!

Eddie agrees to let Hodge go and fetch the lift part needed, as long as he uses Dr Ling's Chugnav to guide him on his journey. Unfortunately, Action Chugger has knocked the satellite, which has skewed the signal, leaving the Chugnav talking utter nonsense! Hodge figures out that the satellite must be broken - so Action Chugger takes Hodge on an exciting trip into space to fix it. Hodge finally gets to help out!

For fun, he plays a 'pretend badge' game with Hoot and Toot, where they award each other imaginary badges. Emery is so busy playing his game that he doesn't listen when Vee assigns him to take some supporters to the footbridge to cheer Koko on. Realising that he was so wrapped up in his pretend badge game, he forgot how important the real badge was for Koko, he takes it upon himself to be her number one cheerleader. Koko is flagging, but with Emery's encouragement, she bursts through the finish line! Emery learns that he doesn't need badges anymore - it's enough to know he's done a good job.

Morgan has run out of spares so Wilson takes the magnetic crane out to try and find enough metal to make a new wheel. He turns the magnetic crane up to it's highest setting and gets stuck to it. Wilson manages to wriggle free and heads back to the depot. Along the way all the metal objects near him start to stick to his body, he's covered!
