Designed to generate awareness and interest among younger viewers in ABC's "Dinotopia". Hosting the program from Dinotopia and using footage from the series, David Scott leads viewers through the visual detail, history, culture, and everyday happenings of Dinotopia. Dinotopia is treated as an absolutely real place. Zippo, noted saurian scholar and librarian, also periodically joins the program as the host of 15 to 30-second "Dino-Newsbreaks". During these sudden breaks in the show, Zippo brings us stories from all parts of Dinotopia.
