On the premiere of Rebound of Fate, Isabel goes to the party to reveal to the world how renowned author Lauro Diniz stole her soap opera. But Isabel has a bit too much to drink and her revenge plan turns on her when she's sucked into a magic monitor. Isabel wakes up in a factory's nursery. Has she drunk herself to insanity, or is this her worst hangover yet?

On the day after the premiere, Lauro wakes up in his office and is warned by Marta: Walter, the network's owner, wants to talk. Besides him, Lauro will also have to face Grazi, the protagonist who's been replaced by Isabel, who feels betrayed by the entire crew. Inside the soap opera, Isabel uses Inácio's wake to try and convince the family that they're living in a fiction.

Isabel's meeting with the Extra turns out to be a literal one-way street, but she considers a plan to speed up the end of Rebound: to seduce the good guy, João Marcelo, and get him on the altar, for that's how soap operas end. The romantic pair's entanglement forces Lauro to change the plot with the return of Geraldo, Inácio's twin brother and, supposedly, Isabel's father.

Isabel tries to prove to João Marcelo that they're not siblings, but Lauro sends the good guy on a business trip in Europe, with no return date. To pass time, Isabel throws herself into the plots and is the protagonist for all the product placements the production had included in the soap opera. On set, Dênis and Cássia clash, and the argument sets off a personal crisis for the renowned actress.

João Marcelo's return awakens hope on Isabel that she might leave the soap opera, but he has a surprise: Isadora, his French fiancée. On the network, Grazi is feeling the increased weight of shooting and pressures Lauro into making Isadora the new protagonist. Isabel realizes that she's being excluded from the main plot and becomes closer to Chiara, in order to win João Marcelo back.
