Please read this, they will be seamless back-to-back episodes.

@Rebecca As previously mentioned, Pilot/Hello! aired as back-to-back episodes, which means they are two separate episodes with the same air date and should be listed as such.

They're listed as separate episodes online too: https://www.cbs.com/shows/ghosts/

I last night finally watched last Thu. night's first two episodes, which aired back to back, but that included the show credits, running anew, at the beginning of the 2nd half-hour - which in my opinion, viewing that night's two episodes, immediately led me to conclude the network was airing two separate episodes consecutively (which otherwise I wouldn't really have noticed, as episode 2 continues from pretty much where episode 1 concludes).

So pretty much like Netflix does. :)
But who is deciding on this? We're a week further now.

I can't believe this is even up for discussion. Everyone knows they were two separate episodes, aired back to back. Just fix the data, please.
Oh, and that link even mentions they're separate entities: "BOTH EPISODES WRITTEN BY: Joe Port & Joe Wiseman" "BOTH EPISODES DIRECTED BY: Trent O’Donnell"

There are 2 Mods in this 7 posts thread and the episodes are still locked. Pretty frustrating.

Well, they could just be busy elsewhere. It's not like they get paid for this. I'd say maybe give it another week, until episode 4 (yeah, that's right, I said 4) airs? That seems an extremely reasonable amount of time to expect such a small edit (or at the very least, some additional discussion input here).
Oh, and as absolute proof, I cite TMDB's own ruling on this matter: "When different, the data on the official website usually trumps press releases and TV listing info." The official CBS website lists the episodes here.

I want a TV-specializing moderator to be who makes an official decision on the matter. I've shared my observation/opinion as a viewer of the show as airing on its home broadcast network, CBS.
Incidentally, any mod who may like to give the two episodes in question a look-see this very night, CBS is rerunning "Pilot" and "Hello!" from 8-9p.m. (US Eastern time - which will be in less than an hour from now) this very night.
I should mention that online listings for these two episodes list them collectively together (with the two individual episode titles noted) as a single broadcast airing, and identify them, collectively, as Season 1, Episode 1.
At any rate, I'm leaving it to one or more TV-specializing moderator to officially make a determination about the matter, and, if agreeing with what's been stated here, adjust the episode numbers.
Follow-up note (added at 8:44p.m. US Eastern time): I'm presently again viewing, directly on the CBS t.v. broadcast network, the two episodes being discussed here. I noticed that "Pilot" airs with no closing credits whatsoever, and that "Hello!" begins with no actual opening credits, though the "GHOSTS" series title does newly reappear within the first minute or so of "Hello!".

Fair enough. How do we get a TV-expert mod to come examine the evidence presented here and weigh in on the matter?

@JabberMoxie, surely one or more TV-specializing ( which I'm not) moderator will notice and read this thread within hours or days, as there are multiple such mods who daily work on resolving t.v. series Support forum Content Issues reports.

Is there any update on this being fixed?

Seems like a lost cause after nearly a full month of being incorrect.

Apologies for the wait, I have been busy. Given the CBS website, I’ll make the adjustments to split the episodes later, when I am on a computer and not my mobile device.
ETA: The split has been completed.
