Language: en-US
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: Was far as I can find out from the official site https://www.tv-asahi.co.jp/ch/recommend/bl/ and Japanese Wikipedia article https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E7%B5%B6%E5%AF%BEBL%E3%81%AB%E3%81%AA%E3%82%8B%E4%B8%96%E7%95%8CVS%E7%B5%B6%E5%AF%BEBL%E3%81%AB%E3%81%AA%E3%82%8A%E3%81%9F%E3%81%8F%E3%81%AA%E3%81%84%E7%94%B7 this is a single-part TV movie, not a 6-episode series. If that's right, it should be in the movie section.

It is for sure available in four parts: https://douga.tv-asahi.co.jp/program/26517-26516 But I'm struggling to confirm how it was originally released 03/27 on テレ朝チャンネル1.

I suspect from past experiences with these kind of things that it was maybe produced as four half-hour episodes, and released as such on demand, but to make it more of an event it was premièred on TV edited into one two-hour "movie". Or produced so that it would work in either format.
A bit like how the first episode of Battlestar Galactica (1978), is three stories that could be split into three normal episodes, and Red Dwarf: The Promised Land was broadcast on TV as one episode but split into two halves for video on demand for technical reasons.
TMDb could do with some rules on what to do in these cases: whether to prioritise how the programme was premièred on linear broadcast TV in its home country (which is ostensibly its original format) or how it was simultaneously or immediately afterwards released on demand (which nowadays is how an increasingly vast majority of viewers, spread over the world, will see it).
