These movies have each a separate movie page on Disney+. As such, they should be listed as separate movies.

How where they released on Disney Channel ?

Do they have a separate movie page (short film page at best) or a separate special page? The cast and crew are the same for the short film/special as the series itself. The Disney channel aired them out of the normal episodic season cycle. So, one show is right and the other is wrong?

It appears that they were released as special episodes of the series as this can be seen here for the first one.

So, all is correct.
