Hi, after some research I think you are correct. All credits moved to the Luigina Rocchi profile.
Some notes about backdrops. Unfortunately we don't want images with black bars to the sides so all images you added for Dolce... calda Lisa have been deleted. When I have time I will go over your other images and delete there as well. Sorry about that. I also noted that you had added over 80 backdrops for that one. In general, the idea with backdrops is to find images that can be used as a background for the movie. Images that, without spoiling too much, represent the movie in a good way. It's not supposed to be a detailed image story of the full movie. If you take a look around at some movies you will see what I mean. Thanks for your contributions and bummer about the extra work with the images but that's how it is. Our image rules: https://www.themoviedb.org/documentation/editing/images
Reopened just to comment about black bars.
Unfortunately some movies, expecially old ones, are not available in 16:9 aspect ratio. Often there is only a 4:3 transfer from the original master, therefore I see only four choices to comply with the 16:9 requirement:
Add black bars to the sides
Crop the frame on top and bottom, hence reducing the visible picture
Stretch the frame
No backdrops at all
What is the right course of action?
Number 1 and 3 are not allowed so that leaves 2 and 4. I think the best source for backdrops for older movies is production stills (photography). But for more obscure movies that is not easy to find.
What is the right course of action?
I would try number 2 and if the quality is acceptable go for it. We usually lower our standards a bit for older titles (as long as it's not extremely bad). I will go over your other backdrops tomorrow.
I will conform, but in my opinion cropping an already small frame is worse than adding black (maybe grey) bars. With bars the original picture is there even if decorated, with cropping some of the original picture is gone.
Now I have finished going over your added backdrops as well as some of your added profile images.
All images with black bars were deleted. For softcore movies (not set to adult:true) nudity is not allowed so those images had to go as well. Exception: posters, when no other poster could be found.
Low quality images were deleted for the most part.
For Diary of a Nymphomaniac I created a backdrop from one of your black bar images. Decent enough result, I think.
For La domenica del diavolo you had added two production stills and from one of those I created a good backdrop. And when one good backdrop exists there is really no need to keep a lot of low quality backdrops around. The same goes for profile images. If you have added one or two good quality ones, the extra low quality ones become redundant.
Some map location images were deleted as well for a few titles.
And finally I'd like to repeat my message about the spirit of backdrops. Try to keep it to images that users would like to keep as a background for the movie and try to avoid spoilers. Also, take another look at the image rules before continuing. Thanks for your contributions.
