This actor did a small part in the 1975 Disney film "The Strongest Man in the World". He was almost definitely a replacement for usual Disney actor/star Keenan Wynn. Maybe Wynn, used to larger roles, was not interested in such a very small part so they gave it to this lookalike/actalike of Wynn's. Gould went on to much more Disney work but this film was i believe actually his first time ever being at the Disney studios.
On 'Adam-12' an actress (named Dorothy Keller) who looked and acted very much like Sandra Gould (there is that surname again and no relation to Harold) in an ep of the cop show. I guess they could not get Ms. Gould as they had originally intended.
On 'Little House on the Prairie" in the ep 'Haunted House' Laura meets a mostly hermit of a man (John Anderson in a superb guest performance). I feel by the extreme similarity of this ep to a 'Night Gallery' called 'Big Surprise' starring John Carradine that that Mr. Carradine was supposed to get the part originally on LHOTP but they could not get him so therefore his excellent replacement! (I also mentioned this ep in one of my other postings!)

Harold Gould is a popular character actor of the past who I remember well - though not from anything in particular - from his making so many appearances on top t.v. series (especially on 1-hour shows) during the '60s, '70s, '80s, etc. Although I can't quite recall him in any specific role, I've always readily recalled Mr. Gould's name, face, dapper general type, and how his voice and accent (decidedly New York) sounded. I always liked him a lot.

Yes, Mr. Gould was indeed a class act. But again similar to Mr. Wynn and probably that is how the former began at Disney.

Another actor replacement was Lou Frizzell. He was in westerns and crime dramas a lot. He was the more popular Ben Johnson's replacement.
