Demi was fantastic! The movie itself was great but a slight letdown for me because my expectations were SKY HIGH after writer/director Coralie Fargeat's debut Revenge.

The thing that bothers me about The Substance is why are we to accept that a seemingly nice lady like Elisabeth Sparkle had no friends to confide with? But at the same time I guess the film WANTS you to think about such things. And the film taught me to ignore handsome twinks with glowing blue eyes. LOL

The ending was....everything!😵

P.S. Dennis Quaid was just a little too perfect for this role if you ask me. Wardrobe and mannerisms aside I didn't feel too much acting from him. LOL 🤢
