This all has something in common with the Dukes of Hazzard TV series back in the 70s and 80s. And it is just this. How scary it was to think the DOH could get any lower than what it started off as but the eps with Coy and Vance were amazingly just that-- lower. The Fury Road of nine years seemed more terrible than terrible enough and lousy as could be in crappy storyline. But somehow and amazingly they got even lower in crappy storyline than that with this.Spooky!

PS At least DOH was highly entertaining.

She runs away from one of Immortan Joe's sons. She hides under a gantry. But... She never tries to escape! She pretends to be a boy and remains in the Citadel. Why? I thought the point of the plot was to avenge the death of her mother and Furiosa returning to The Green Place. That's the character's story motivation and yet Furiosa doesn't try to escape the Citadel. She never takes food, water, guns and a vehicle. She just stays in the Citadel and we see her become an adult. Didn't make any sense. She wasn't bothered about finding The Green Place, returning to her home. The subplot of Furiosa wanting to return home was undermined because we know she doesn't find The Green Place. In Mad Max Fury Road (set after Furiosa A Mad Max Saga) she is a road warrior with a crew. She didn't find her home.

Not a lot of places in the wasteland that can be used to hide or live, especially for a young Furiosa. She didn't know how to find her home, she had no stocks of food and water to survive elsewhere. So she stayed because it was the only place she could survive at. After she was already grown up she was trying to escape, she needed a better timing. And later she wanted to take all the women with her, so she had to wait for a better opportunity. I am not sure what is not making sense. Maybe because she waited for too long? Maybe it was possible to arrange everything much sooner, but then we wouldn't have the movies, lol. You can also ask, why Dementus stayed with red color in his hair for so long without washing it and it doesn't make any sense that one color bomb could make his hair and cape to look like that. That's not the point of the movie. In art you need to suspend your disbelief enough to enjoy what artist wanted to say.

And I disagree that the movie has crappy storyline. I think it's written very well. Need to remember that this is very symbolic movie, some characters and events are symbolic and not realistic intentionally.
