Shooting wrapped a month or so ago.
While I wish Mignola and Del Toro would just get back together and give us the film we ALL f*cking want already, I am somewhat more optimistic about this particular reboot over that last awful attempt. They seem to have chosen, very wisely, to adapt ONE story from the "Hellboy" series, and a fairly small-scale one at that. "Hellboy" 2019 tried to reboot and just sloppily go as big as possible without earning any of it, and rightly fell flat it's face.
Rebooting it this way will allow them to establish the tone of this reboot, tell the story cheaply, and build their way up toward apocalypic events if it is successful. We'll see.

I don't know. I have become cynical with Hollywood adaptations.
I will believe it when I see it. Literally!
